Ashley Elaine Brown was born January 6, 1981, in Tallahassee, FL, the daughter of Randy & Florence Turnage Brown. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1999. Ashley was a member of Family Worship Center.
Family was the center of her world, and Ashley loved them fiercely. She never met a stray animal she didn't want to take home and often said she wished she could rescue every single one that crossed her path. She found peace in the outdoors with a fishing pole in her hand or waiting on the sun to rise while hunting. Ashley was just as content at home with a good book or working on a sewing, crocheting, or crafting project. When it was time to unwind, you could usually find Animal Planet, a baseball game, or a NASCAR race on the television. Ashley believed in taking care of business before having fun and was known for saying the errands had to be done first.
She was the kind of person who would give you her last nickel. Kindhearted, friendly, and always thinking of others first, Ashley had a way of making people feel loved. She was her mama's trusted GPS, somehow knowing the way to just about anywhere without missing a turn. As the tech support for her family, Ashley ensured every glitch was fixed in record time. Her love was steady, her generosity came naturally, and the difference she made in the lives of others was unmatched.
Survivors include her parents; her siblings, Camille Brown Fugate and her husband, Michael, and Josh Brown and his wife, Nicole; her nieces, Avery, Ella, and Campbell; and a host of extended family.
