Bobby C. Davis, 93, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Lynn Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Clay Davis, Keith Kelley, Chris Kelley, Rory Brock, Jamey Singleton, and Brian Brock serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Bryant Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com. Bobby Carroll Davis was born January 1, 1933, in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Colton & Leah Brock Davis. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School where he was recognized as Salutatorian and played basketball. Bobby was an active member of Sutton Chapel where he served as chairman of the board, trustee, member of the pastor parish committee, and chairman of Sunday School, where he taught for many years. He also led the singing at Sutton Chapel. He attended and loved Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church.

Bobby was inducted into the Army at Fort Jackson, SC and furthered his duties at Fort Sill, OK. After serving eight years in the Army Reserves, he was discharged. Bobby returned home to help look after the family farm. He worked with Buddy Hornsby in the early 1960s and was also employed at Cliett Hardware.

Bobby was active in the Decatur County Farm Bureau, serving as director and president. He also served as chairman of the American Farm Bureau Swine Committee. He and his wife attended the inaugural ball for Governor George Busbee.

Bobby loved time spent outdoors, especially walking through the woods and exploring nature. Fall trips to the mountains to see the changing leaves were a favorite, and he always made time to stop by and visit "Aunt Doris" along the way. He also enjoyed square dancing with the Mt. Pleasant Belles and Beaus and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife of 75 years and love of his life, Gladys B. Davis; his children, Mark & Susan Davis, Alan & Lynn Davis, and Suzanne & Terry Phillips; his grandchildren, Curtis & Kim, Audrey, and Colton & Erica; and his great-grandchildren, Will, Klay, Grant, Brock, and Connor. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his siblings, Laverne Kelley, Curtis Davis, Rufus Davis, Cecil Davis, and Doris Mills.
