Brandon Howard Baba

Brandon Howard Baba, 32, of Morganton, GA, formerly of Turlock, CA passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors.

Brandon Howard Baba was born April 4, 1991, in San Jose, CA, the son of Robert & Lisa Gibbs Baba. He was a graduate of Turlock High School and shortly after enlisted in the United States Army. Brandon was currently on active duty serving as a recruiter. He was Baptist by faith.

Brandon was raised on the premise that family is the foundation for all things. He dedicated himself to his wife and children cherishing their time together. (Brandon also made sure to talk with his mama several times a day.) He took seriously his commitment to serving his country and was proud of being a combat engineer serving alongside his Army family. Brandon was quite a jokester, enjoyed hunting, and set aside time on Sunday to watch Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the gridiron.

Survivors include his wife, Cassady Baba; his children, Sophie, Brandon & Ella Mae; his mother, Lisa Baba; his siblings, Macy & Jerrid Coleman of Bainbridge, Jason & Jamie Van Horn of Modesto, CA, Noah Viney, and Rayce & Kelsey Viney of Los Gatos, CA; his nephews, Tripp and Finn; his paternal grandmother, Alice Baba; and his cousin, Brittany Hibdon. Brandon was preceded in death by his father and his maternal grandparents, Larry & Judith Gibbs.
