Briar Lee Jones, a full throttle 3, met Jesus face to face on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan Carnes officiating. A private interment will follow with Aaron Simpson, Spencer Culverson, Jake Jones, and Alex Wimberly serving as active pallbearers.

Briar Lee Jones was born October 19, 2021, in Cairo, GA, the son of Britt and Alexis Jones. From Day 1, Briar was the star of the show. He was full of personality and loved being in on the action. Playing with his cousins, doing all the things, was the best day. Shark movies, dinosaurs, and monster trucks were fun, but not as much as slime. The beach was a wide-open space for Briar to "Mingo Dance" and play with plenty of sand to dig in. He loved dino gummies, yellow chips, and "better peas". (If Briar didn't like something, he would request "better".) Briar was a warrior, a fighter, and a gift from God.

Survivors include his parents; his grandparents, Traci & Branden Hall, Michelle Jones, and Ed Jones; his great-grandparents, Lisa Odom, Bryan & Sue Webb, and Judy & Carroll Jones; and a host of extended family.
