Carlos Garcia-Baquet

Carlos Garcia-Baquet, 63, of Bainbridge, formerly of Miami, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025.

Carlos Garcia-Baquet was born November 27, 1961, in Havana, Cuba, the son of Regino Garcia & Maria Baquet. Following high school graduation, Carlos enrolled in vo-tech classes. Later, he became a commercial truck driver. Carlos was a Christian by faith.

Carlos was considered an old school provider. For him, that meant working hard and family first. Anything to do with automobiles or mechanics fell in his wheelhouse and IF an issue was challenging, it usually only took a quick minute for him to figure it out. Carlos had a firecracker personality and a huge heart to balance it. He loved TikTok, watching television, and keeping current on the events of the day.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Maria Munõz Garcia; his children, Melissa Alvarez (Peter) and Carlos A. Garcia (Darlene); his grandchildren, Isabella, Peter, and Lukas; and his siblings, Amada Hernandez, Caridad Garcia, Armando Garcia, and Alberto Garcia. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, Regino & Concha Garcia, and his siblings, Angela Ruiz and José Luis Garcia.
