Danny Ray Lambert

Danny Ray Lambert, a longtime resident of Climax, GA, went home to be with the Lord on June 2, 2024. He was 70 years old. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7th at 10:00 am at the Climax Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Weaver and Rev. Lynn Hurley officiating. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery will immediately follow the funeral service, with Rodney Lambert, Tom Ingram, Walt Ingram, Jackson Ingram, Chris Burke, Jerrid Burke, Aaron Burke, and Phillip Lambert serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive visitors from 6-7 on Thursday, June 6th at Bryant Funeral Home.

Mr. Lambert is survived by Thelma "Missy" Ingram Lambert, his beloved wife of 49 years; two children, Dan Lambert (Jeannie) and Natalie Van Horn (Ryan); four grandchildren, Annabell Van Horn, Victoria Lambert, Spencer Van Horn, and Alexander Lambert; a sister, Karen Stafford (Shawn); and two brothers, Tim Lambert and Ben (Peggy) Lambert. Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Freddie, Wendell, and Ted.

Danny was born in Bainbridge, GA on April 25, 1954, to Mary Ellen (Watts) and Lucine Leslie Lambert. He attended Bainbridge High School and Atlanta Medical College, and spent a long career as a Medical Lab Technician, retiring from Phoebe-Worth in 2018. He married Thelma Nadine "Missy" Ingram on October 6th, 1974. Their family was blessed with two beloved children.

Those who knew Mr. Lambert will remember him as a man with interests as varied as gardening, fussing about the government, Sci Fi movies, performing in plays at the Little Theater in Bainbridge, and singing George Strait's "Love Without End Amen" along with the Climax Grand Ole Opry.

His family remembers him as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who demonstrated unwavering love and support for his family in all their endeavors, and never missed an opportunity to ensure everyone had their "daily dose of PMA (…positive mental attitude…)."

A deeply faithful man, Mr. Lambert is the very portrait of a strong Christian patriarch who lived his life in service of the Lord and led by example.
