David Alan Brinson, 76, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

David Alan Brinson was born February 5, 1946, in Miami, FL, the son of Carlton & Olie Bishop Brinson. He attended college and spent the better part of his adulthood working. David retired as Plant Manager at ITT Plastics and went to work at Higdon Furniture. He was Baptist by faith.

Outdoors was David's favorite place. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Traveling, sometimes with no particular place in mind, was always on the agenda. Grandchildren and great-grands held the key to his heart, and he bragged on their accomplishments (and shenanigans) at every opportunity.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Judy Mock Brinson; his children, Twyla Brinson Darley and her husband, William, of Mitchell County, and David Scott Brinson and his wife, Jeanie, of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Will, Hannah, Keyleigh, and Kace; his great-grandchildren, Raylee & Greyson; and his siblings, Jack Brinson of Bainbridge and Gloria Hubbard of Blakely. David was preceded in death by his parents.
