Cynthia Dawn Lane, 82, of Camilla, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Cynthia Dawn Lane was born February 21, 1943, in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Fred & Margaret Lane. "Dawnie Bug" was the favorite child of the Lane Family. Despite the challenges she faced throughout her life, she met each day with innocence, warmth, and an appreciation for simple things. She found great comfort in her collection of dolls and stuffed animals, treating each one as a treasured companion. Her face would light up with every family visit relishing in the fact she was "the favorite".

Survivors include her sisters, Betty Yates of Albany and Angela Brown of Sacramento, CA, and a host of extended family. In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her sisters, Gayle Pope and Rebecca Lane.
