Dennis D. King

Dennis D. King, 69, of Bainbridge, formerly of Columbus, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024.

Dennis Darrell King was born January 2, 1955, in Columbus, GA, the son of Harold & Juanita Carroll King.  He lived most of his life in the Columbus/Opelika area where he worked as a landscaping professional. Dennis was a Christian by faith.

As with most Alabama sports fans, Dennis could be heard yelling, "Roll Tide" during football season. His favorite NFL team was the Atlanta Falcons. (He may have even busted out the "dirty bird" a time or two on game day.) Dennis always enjoyed playing guitar especially with his best friends in junior high/high school with their local band.

Survivors include his son, Nicholas King and his wife, Tracy, of Columbus; his brothers, Randy King and his wife, Laurie, of Latrobe, PA, and Mark King of Columbus; and a large extended family. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Harold D. King and Juanita Carroll Bailey.
