Diane Boyd Bellflower

Diane Boyd Bellflower, 68, of Brinson, GA, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Cynthia Diane Boyd was born May 28, 1954, in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Herbert & Eudene Vickers Boyd. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and a member of Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church.

Diane enjoyed the simple things in life: Diet Coke, a spectacular mountain view, and her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her heart, and they never doubted she would fight a tiger over them. She was an excellent cook and could bake a perfect 21-layer chocolate cake. Diane had a quite a sense of humor and her off-the-cuff wit kept you in stitches.

Survivors include her children, Shane (Lisa) Bellflower of Loganville, GA, James Gilbourn of Brinson, GA, Trent Bellflower of Bainbridge, GA, and Casey (Brittany) Bellflower also of Brinson, GA; her grandchildren, Madison & Blake, Haley, Hunter, Brittany, Noah, Rylee, Aubrey, and Berklee; her great-granddaughter, Scarlett; her siblings, Randy (Diane) Boyd of Lakeland, FL and Brenda Boyd of Bainbridge, GA; her sister-in-law, Veda Bellflower; and a host of extended family. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Timmy H. Bellflower, and her brother, Sammy Boyd.
