Don E. Hoskins

Don E. Hoskins, 65, of Brinson, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Christian Faith Church with Pastor Ron Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at Brinson Cemetery with Bobby Hoskins, Buddy Hoskins, Rondell Moten, Freddy Anderson, Richard Sims, Michael Myers, Shannon Hutto, and Ricky Britt serving as active pallbearers.

Donald Earvin Hoskins was born February 25, 1961, in Donalsonville, GA, the son of Roy & Elizabeth Nix Hoskins. After high school, Don spent his days working on cars. Most recently he worked with Barlow Paint & Body. Don was a member of Christian Faith Church.

Don enjoyed the simple things in life: spending time with family & friends, racing cars, and fishing. His mechanic skills gave him quite an advantage when it came to souping-up a vehicle. He loved music and leaned towards the country station or the old gospel tunes. Don’s absolute favorite time of the day was when he walked into the kitchen to Lisa’s country cooking.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lisa Lashley Hoskins; his children, Brooks Hoskins and Beth Hoskins; his granddaughter, Sara; his siblings, David Hoskins (Pam), Kay Hutto (Shannon), Tommy Nix (Sheri), Jimmy Nix, and Tina Funk (Adam); his stepmother, Vivian Hoskins; and a host of extended family. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Ann Hoskins.
