Elaine enjoyed catering wedding receptions as wedding gifts for friends’ children and catering wedding and baby showers for family and friends. She is also survived by her really close brother, Billy Birdsong. Billy and Elaine were only 15 months apart. Because they were so close in age, they had a really special bond After Elaine’s husband died, Billy was instrumental in helping her relocate back to Eldorendo to be close to family. He checked on her several times a day and always came when she needed help doing anything—from the smallest tasks to those that seemed overwhelming. He’s the big brother everyone wishes they had. Elaine is also survived by two special nephews, Lance Birdsong (Sheila) and Lee Birdsong; her special friends, Freida Watkins, Jonathan & Lisa Morgan, and Luke & Kate. In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by the love of her life, Edwin Denham; her brothers, David Eugene Birdsong, Don Edward Birdsong, and Franklin Vickers Birdsong; and her sister, Deloris Lamar Birdsong Tilton.
