Freida M. Fountain

Freida M. Fountain, 68, of Climax, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024.

Freida Mellvina Fountain was born May 14, 1956, in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of Albert & Mary Hall Fountain. She was a high school graduate with some college credits towards a degree in nursing. She was a Christian by faith.

Freida lived in Thomasville, Tallahassee, and Las Vegas before making Climax her home fourteen or so years ago. She enjoyed watching television, especially old westerns, and reading. Women's World and Christian magazines were her favorites.

Survivors include her uncles, Paul Hall and Tommy Hall; her cousin, Rhonda Long; her niece & nephew, Angela & David; and her close friend, Rebecca Long. In addition to her parents, Freida was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin Fountain, and her brother, Allen Harris "Sput" Fountain.
