James William Harrison

James William Harrison, 65, of Climax, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026.

James William was born November 24, 1960, in Bainbridge, GA, the son of James and Reba Byrd Harrison. He made his living as a farmer and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

James William loved sports and was a fierce competitor, especially when it came to church league softball. He enjoyed the game and the competition that came with it. Deer hunting was another favorite sport providing plenty of stories and trophies to share with his fellow “competitors”.

Survivors include his brother, Danny Harrison. In addition to his parents, James William was preceded in death by his brothers, James S. “Buckshot” Harrison, Jr. and Jerry Harrison.
