Jana C. Harrell, 49, of Vada, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Conrad Salter officiating. Interment will follow at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Meigs.

Jana Christine Harrell was born July 14, 1975, in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Ronnie & Jan White Harrell. She attended Bainbridge High School and worshipped at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Jana was the light of Ronnie & Jan's lives. She enjoyed traveling, seeing the world & meeting new people. She had an unconditional love for others that created forever friendships. Though she was the sweetest of the bunch, Jana was full of sass and sarcasm when it came to her brothers. Jana made no bones about being the "boss of Randy" and thoroughly enjoyed watching him squirm to meet her demands. Jana was so smooth, she managed to convince her daily caregivers to slip her a Coca~Cola every now and then.

Every activity at Memorial Manor was her favorite but watching movies, playing UNO or BINGO, and learning new tricks with her Slinky topped the list. Snow globes captivated Jana's attention, transporting her to faraway places she dreamed of.

Survivors include her brothers, Ron Harrell (Cindy) of Hopeful and Randy Harrell (Christy) of Vada; her nephews, Dylan and Landon; and a host of extended family. Jana was preceded in death by her parents.
