Charles Jason Hart was born October 18, 1976, in Tallahassee, FL, the son of Charles & Doris Boyett Hart. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1995, and attended Bainbridge College. Jason worked alongside his father at Hart's Automotive. He was Baptist by faith and attended Harmony Baptist Church.

Jason was the epitome of a "good ol' boy"; he loved to hunt, fish, work on cars, tell jokes, and cook. His skills on the grill meant he was often tagged with bringing something other than a side dish to gatherings. He had a great sense of humor and was constantly laughing. This made it difficult to be a stranger to Jason. He kept in touch with classmates, helped whomever he could, and always said, "I love you."

He had a vast knowledge of cars, airplanes, and even model airplanes. Jason could fix most anything knowing the ins and outs of how things work. Rolling up to the shop usually meant conversation about family and friends before discussing your vehicle repair needs. Jason leaves a legacy as a good son, husband, father, and friend.

Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Jessica Atkinson Hart; his daughter, Lindsey Smith; his parents, Charles & Doris Hart; his uncle, Wayne Boyett; his "adopted" brothers, Wendell Hall and Lewis Coleman; and his best dog, Bentley. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cliff Hart, Willie Hart, and W.G. & Beatrice Boyett.
