Jayden Polk, 20 months, ran into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tucker Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Jayden's uncles serving as active pallbearers.

Jayden Nelson Polk was born September 7, 2023, in Albany, GA, the son of James & Allyson Carter Polk. He was always joyful and spent the better part of each day pointing out the wonder in our world. Hearing Jayden say, "Look" and following his finger gave friends and family a fresh perspective on everything. Copying his daddy was like a game that made him giggle. Jayden loved all the sweets, but Fruit Loops were his favorite.

Survivors include his parents; his siblings, James Edward Polk, Jr. and Winslet Rebecca Louise Polk; his grandparents, Eddie Polk, Tina Whitaker, David Carter, and Tara Knowles; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
