Jed Jonathan Oliver

Jed Jonathan Oliver, 69, of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home with his family, September 12, 2024.

Jed grew up in Wakulla County where he attended 1st-12th grades. He retired after 44 years as a Tugboat Captain, which he enjoyed immensely. Always sharing stories about his trips. He was the youngest relief Captain for his boat. Jed also was a Pilot and flew private planes. He was a faithful member of the Anchor Christian Fellowship in Bainbridge. Jed enjoyed golfing and loved his dog Ollie-O.

He will be remembered by his wife Linda Bell Oliver, daughter Courtney Oliver (John Burton), sister Pam Oliver, brother Mark Oliver and grandson Noah Rodriquez-Oliver.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 am at Family Funeral Home/Harvey Young Chapel and the Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Oliver Cemetery in Wakulla Station.
