Jeffrey Clayton Livingston was born April 3, 1967, in Albany, GA, the son of Charles Sr. & Judy Livingston. He was a 1985 graduate of Woodland Hall Academy and lived his entire life in South GA/North FL. Clay loved every moment he spent farming at Crossbow Plantation. He was a member of Capital City Christian Church.
Clay was the kind of person who made life brighter for everyone around him. Always smiling and quick to share a laugh, he genuinely wanted others to be happy. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people feel welcome, whether they were lifelong friends, family members, or customers with First Communications. His kindness and easygoing nature left a lasting impression on countless lives.
Family was at the center of his world. Clay loved his children deeply, but nothing compared to the joy he felt when he became “Poppy” to his granddaughter, Ava. He was proud of her from the very beginning and cherished every moment they spent together. A kid at heart, Clay was the first to turn on cartoons, play games, and do just about anything else Ava wanted to. He shared a special bond with his nieces and nephews, whose lives were enriched by his love, encouragement, and fun-loving spirit. Clay was content with simple things—working day-to-day on the farm, spending time outdoors, and casting a line whenever he could.
Survivors include his children, Nathanael Livingston & Isabella Livingston; his granddaughter, Ava; his parents, Charles & Judy Livingston; his siblings, Betty L. Boyett (Earl), Charles Livingston, Jr. (Gail), and Michelle Sweeney-O’Neal (Todd); and his close friend, Mollie. Clay was preceded in death by his wife, Meliah Jackson Livingston.
