Karen Howell, 66, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

Karen Joe Ehrhart was born March 1, 1958, in Anderson, IN, the daughter of Joseph & Wanda Kennedy Ehrhart. After high school, she attended college and eventually found herself in Bainbridge, GA some forty-plus years ago. Karen worked at TeligentEMS in Havana.

Karen was a workaholic fueled by coffee. Her strong work ethic included tending the details. Crocheting was a relaxing pastime, and every project was perfect. Family was important to Karen. She enjoyed every minute of their time together even if it included a little work.

Survivors include her children, Nicole Wade (Terrill) and Brandon Howell, all of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Katie & Dustin, Christopher, Sierra, Kyle, and Haley; and her great-grandchildren, Addison, Joseph, and Oliver. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her daughter, Brandi Howard, and her sister, Vicki Smith.
