Linda Sapp Johnston

Linda Sapp Johnston, 73, of Bainbridge, formerly of Leesburg, FL, passed away October 12, 2023.

Linda Faye Sapp was born December 11, 1949, in Leesburg, FL, the daughter of John Henry Sapp & Vera Lentz Sapp Leaser. She was a high school graduate in Leesburg and continued her education earning an associate degree from Lake Sumter Community College. Linda worked as an optician with Mid Florida Eye Clinic until her retirement. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Leesburg.

Family time, especially holiday gatherings with all the nieces and nephews, was a thrill for Linda. She enjoyed catching up on the comings and goings while sharing memories of days gone by. Linda enjoyed shopping and always seemed to run across a little something. Her friends will cherish their regular phone conversations knowing Daisy, Linda's poodle, was briefed shortly after regarding every word spoken.

Survivors include her brothers, Lee Sapp (Kimberley) of Bainbridge and Danny Sapp (Susan) of Fruitland Park, FL; several nieces & nephews; and her beloved poodle, Daisy. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Johnston.
