Linda Sue Jones

Linda Sue Jones, 62, of Colquitt, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

Linda Sue Roa was born August 28, 1960, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Charles & Alma Orletta Roa. She married David R. Jones in 1979, and they made their home in Orlando, FL and for the last fifteen years in Southwest Georgia. Linda was a Christian by faith.

The simpler the better was Linda's motto. She enjoyed watching television and tending her pet cats. Rounding up the children and grandchildren was a daily ritual. Linda was always available for a quick conversation and a little free advice.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, David Jones; her children, Derek Jones, Jeanie Jones, & David Jones all of Colquitt, and Vickey Jones of Florida; her grandchildren, Hanna, Christian, Devin, Dylan, Haley, Landon, Brooklyn, Cameron, Bentley, Kendall, Josh, and Ariana; her great-grandchild, August; her siblings Red, John, Donna, and Angie; and a large extended family. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Jones.
