Makayla Green

Makayla Nicole Green, 24, of Bixby, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022.

The family will hold a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Climax Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Poppell officiating.

Makyala Nicole Green was born February 13, 1998, in Winter Haven, FL, the daughter of Nick Green and Tammy Spurlin Green. After high school, Makayla started her college journey pursuing a degree in literature. She contemplated a career in journalism and found that writing poetry was a perfect way to express her thoughts. Makayla enjoyed worshipping at Foundations Church in Broken Arrow, OK.

Survivors include her parents, Nick & Lisa Green of Climax and Tammy Green of Oklahoma City, OK; her siblings, Dawson Green, Bruce Hulsopple, and Amanda Hulsopple; her paternal grandparents, Mickey & Kathy Green of Whigham, GA; and a host of extended family.
