Meloney "Renee" Walker

Meloney "Renee" Walker, 69 of Destin Florida passed away at home on Thursday September 30 2021. Renee was born August 6, 1952 in Henderson Ky to the late James Walker and Martha Matthews.

Renee earned a Bachelor degree from WKU, a Master Degree from Ga St University and a Masters Degree from University of West Ga. she retired in 2010 after 30 years with Dekalb County school system where she worked as a guidance counselor. Renee had a passion for boating, fishing, animals, and she loved the beach.

Survivors include her partner of 42 years Barbara, sister Tammy (Terry) Fruit, Brother, Danny Walker, sister in-law Debbie (Terry), nephew Michael Rewis, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life for family and friends will be planned at a later date.
