Michael A. Glass

Michael A. Glass, 63, of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026.

Michael was the son of James & Betty Lou Hutto Glass. He was a lifelong resident of Bainbridge and graduated from Bainbridge High School. He worked for years at Amoco Fabric & Fibers until declining health issues forced him into early retirement.

Michael was a devoted member of Unity Church of God. His love for the Lord was evident in the way he lived each day. He enjoyed participating in praise and worship, playing the bass guitar during church services, and singing gospel music. At home, his radio was always tuned in to gospel music.

Michael had a soft spot for animals, especially the community cats he made sure were fed and cared for. He didn't need the spotlight. He was happiest serving the Lord, making music, and quietly caring for others in his own way.

Survivors include his sister, Pam, several nieces & nephews, and his close friends, Ricky McCall, Alice Jordan, and Pastor Aaron Horne. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his siblings, Ronnie, Daryl, and April.
