Sheena Taylor Walker

Sheena Taylor Walker, 42, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Humphries and Rev. Andrew Donaldson officiating. Scott Greenway, Fred Taylor, Casey Townsend, Jesus Castillo, Mitchell Womble, and Abelardo Noriega Beltran will serve as active pallbearers.

Sheena Renae Taylor was born June 23, 1983, in Colquitt, GA, the daughter of Rufus & Connie Preston Taylor. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 2002. Sheena worked as a district manager for Blue Stone Carports. She attended First Baptist Church and West Bainbridge Baptist Church.

Sheena was first and foremost a devoted mother who adored her children beyond measure. Her happiest moments were spent in the kitchen, where she shared her love through cooking and baking. Her mac & cheese, cookies, and honey fried chicken were family favorites that no one could resist. Sheena found joy in the simple things: gardening in the sunshine, tending to her beloved chickens, listening to old country music, and, of course, shopping. The beach was her favorite getaway, where she could relax and recharge with the people she loved most.

Family was everything to her. Whether it was a holiday or just a Sunday afternoon, she opened her home and heart to all, making sure everyone was well-fed and felt at home. She had a special bond with her nieces and nephews, who cherished her playful spirit and endless love.

Survivors include her husband of 7 years, Trent M. Walker; her children, Kasin Taylor, Lathan Holt, Blessing Walker, Neteazia Walker, Ky'niayah Walker, and Armani Walker; her mother, Connie Glass; her siblings, Amber Taylor Townsend (Casey), Shane Taylor, Abby Glass, and Amanda Harrison (Chase); her mother-in-law, Valarie Washington; and a host of nieces & nephews. Sheena was preceded in death by her fathers, Rufus Taylor and David Glass, and her grandparents, XM & Nancy Taylor and Joyce & Wallace Preston.
