Stanley Glenn "Sonny" Cloud Sr., 71, of Bainbridge Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Sonny was born August 1, 1950, in Bainbridge Georgia. He was the son of Willis Arvin Cloud and Zeathie Lois Clayton Cloud. First and foremost, Sonny was a Christian. He was a role model to all that it's never too late to change your life. He was a master mechanic. He was a training service manager for Firestone for many years as well as a heavy equipment technician for various corporations such as: Amoco, Englehard, and Airtek. He could fix anything. Later in life his true calling was to become an ordained minister. Sonny enjoyed things as simple as watching an old western movie and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed activities such as fishing, studying his Bible, and a good ol' fish fry. Sonny was always willing and happy to help anyone in need. Above everything else his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were his greatest joy.

His survivors include his children, Glenn Cloud of Bainbridge Georgia, and Alex Cloud of Jacksonville Florida; his brother, Newman Cloud of Donalsonville Georgia; his grandchildren, Kristen Cloud Cox and her husband, Benjamin Cox, of Cherry Point, North Carolina, Rebecca Cloud and her partner, Ian Gibson, of Bainbridge Georgia, Peyton Cloud of Bainbridge Georgia, and Alexis Hicks of Jacksonville Florida; and his great-grandchildren, Elijah Case Cox and Easton Clay Gibson. Sonny also had many special nieces and nephews. Sonny leaves behind several special people including one very special friend, Robbie Sue King. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Lois; his sister, Linda; and his brother, Truman.
