Suzanne Cordier Glorieux was born October 25, 1937, in Orange, NJ, the daughter of Donald and Virginia Sanderson Glorieux. After moving to Bainbridge, Suzanne worked as a legal secretary until her retirement. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Eclectic is the best single word to describe Suzanne. She was an accomplished artist and musician (played accordion, guitar, and ukulele), a member of the ski team at Cypress Gardens, a certified scuba diver, a fantastic hostess, a beauty queen (Miss Ft. Myers Beach & Queen of Shrimp Fleet 1955), and even an airplane pilot. She enjoyed life and pushed the limits on every experience. Cape San Blas, Apalachicola, and really anywhere there was water felt like home to Suzanne. She loved the beach and diving with Mel Fisher was always a standout memory. Suzanne had a quick wit, and her laughter was contagious. She appreciated sharing her gift of hospitality with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, James M. Pace, Jr., her children, Sean & Karly McGraw of Jacksonville, Brian McGraw also of Jacksonville, Sharon & Harry Proudfoot of Brunswick, Susan & Brian Foster of Marietta, Linda Pace also of Marietta, and Emily & Mark McCoy of Athens; her grandchildren, Liam, Kadyn, Madison, Meagan, Abby, Samantha, Eva, and Toby; her great-grandchildren, Ryker, Nolan, and Ian; and a host of extended family. In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her son, Michael Barnett, and her sister, Michelle Abernathy.
