Terry Lankford

Terry Lankford, 53, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022.

Terry Foster Lankford was born December 17, 1968, in Arcadia, FL, the son of Paul & Rowena Bates Lankford. He lived in central Florida until 1998 when he made the trek to Southwest Georgia. Terry worked as a heavy equipment operator with Circle B Contracting and was Baptist by faith.

Terry lived life on the edge. He was an excellent mechanic who loved fast cars and fast bikes. He called a spade a spade and didn't apologize for it. Grandchildren brought him joy and challenges. Terry relished in thoughts of days gone by as he watched his grands explore a new era and way of life.

Survivors include his wife of almost 34 years, Dawn Harding Lankford; his children, Zanna Lankford, Paul & Gabbie Lankford, Misty Lankford & Dee Friday, and Lee Williams, all of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Marisa, Katelyn, Hunter, Dakota, Elias, Walker, and Ava; and a host of extended family. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Wes Lankford.
