Tisa Bush

Tisa Bush, 74, of Faceville, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Mobley officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery.

Loutisa Kay Poppell was born May 28, 1950, in Monticello FL, the daughter of Bessie Mae Starling Poppell. She married Craig Bush, and after living several years in Tallahassee, decided to make Faceville their home. Tisa was a Christian by faith.

Life revolved around the girls and the grands for Tisa. She enjoyed every moment spent doing exactly what they wanted to do. The outdoors was Tisa's happy place. She loved to fish and sit on the beach for hours on end working on the perfect tan.

Survivors include her daughters, Candy Taylor of Thomasville and Christy Barthelmess (Adam) of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Lily, Seth, and Bree; and her brother, Roger Poppell. Tisa was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Craig Bush; her mother, Bessie Mae Welch; and her brothers, Dennis Poppell and Randolph Poppell.
